This authentic poster for the Tony Award-winning play ?Sizwi Banzi is Dead and The Island? hung in the display showcase of the Charles Playhouse in Boston.
The poster suffers the wear and tear of use, as can be seen in the photos.
The poster is:
41 inches wide overall / 37 ¼ inches wide in the black area
63 inches high overall / 60 inches high in the black area
There is some salvageable white border.
There is extensive tearing along the white border on the left side, but no tears extend into the black poster itself. There is a small tear, about an inch long in the lower left hand corner. The right edge is in good condition. The bottom left corner has been trimmed and there is very little white border.
The production stars the two original xxxx Tony Award winning actors John Kani and Winston Ntshoma.
